Home/Editorial policy
Editorial policy
These are commitments rather than aspirations. They are published here, at a stable address, because the site's structured data points its publishingPrinciples at this page, and because a policy nobody can read is not a policy.
The tools stay free
The Launch Readiness Score and the AI Visibility Check will not move behind a paywall, a signup wall or a credit system. The full report costs an email address and that is the extent of it. The score itself, the eight dimension breakdown, every verified check with its evidence, and the three weakest findings are all visible without giving us anything.
Articles do not pitch
No article on this site sells anything. There is a disclosure line at the foot of each one, a services page for people who want it, and a contextual link to the assessment. That is the whole of the commercial layer inside the editorial. If you read a piece here that feels like a sales page, that is a failure and it is worth telling us about.
Dates mean something
Published and last reviewed dates change only when the content substantively changes. Bumping a date to look fresh is a common tactic, it is detectable, and this site does not use it. Where a piece has been revised there is a note saying what changed. Given that content freshness genuinely does affect how often a page gets cited, the temptation here is real, which is exactly why the rule is written down.
Claims are verifiable, or clearly framed as judgement
Where a figure appears it carries its source and can be checked. Where a judgement appears it is written as a judgement rather than dressed as a fact. Correlational research is described as correlational. Client stories and first hand anecdotes are never invented to make a point land better, and illustrative examples are labelled as illustrative.
Two figures that appeared in an early draft of the site's planning documents were removed because they could not be traced to a primary source. That is the standard being applied.
The commercial relationship is disclosed everywhere
Not in a link at the bottom of an About page nobody reads. On every page, in the footer, in plain words: Product Launch Blog is an EbizIndia publication. You should always know who is talking to you and what they sell.
The site passes its own test
Every one of the forty checks we ask you to answer, this site answers Yes to itself, and its own Launch Readiness Score is published on the About page with a link to the live result. A readiness instrument that would fail its own assessment has no standing. If you find a check where the site does not meet its own bar, that is a legitimate thing to point out and it will be fixed rather than argued with.
No paid links, no link schemes
The site does not buy links, sell links, exchange links, or accept guest posts. External links are editorial and unpaid. If a link ever needs to be marked as sponsored, it will be, and there are none at the time of writing.
How the site is funded
It is not, directly. No advertising, no affiliate content, no sponsored placement, and none of those are planned. The site earns its keep by occasionally introducing somebody who scored badly on a dimension to the people who fix that dimension for a living. That is the whole model, and if you never take that route the site still works exactly as intended.
Use of AI in producing this site
Drafting assistance is used, as it is almost everywhere now. Every piece is directed, edited, fact-checked and signed off by a named human who is accountable for it. Nothing is published that has not been read by that person. The site does not publish generated volume, and the publishing rate is deliberately slow enough that this remains true.
Corrections and right of reply
Corrections are made in place with a note. If the site describes a named product or company and gets something wrong, tell us and it will be fixed quickly. Comparison content, where it exists, aims to be something the competitor would recognise as fair.
Questions people ask
Does Product Launch Blog accept guest posts or sponsored content?
No, at any price. Every article is written and bylined by Arun Agrawal. There is no sponsored content, no paid inclusion in any list, and no affiliate content anywhere on the site.
How are corrections handled?
In place, with a visible note recording what changed and when, rather than silently. Substantive corrections also update the last reviewed date. Report anything wrong to ebizindia@gmail.com.
Is the site independent of EbizIndia?
No, and it does not claim to be. Product Launch Blog is an EbizIndia publication, which is stated in the footer of every page. The tools are free and the articles do not pitch, but the people who run the site sell launch and visibility services, and that relationship is disclosed rather than obscured.
